With the use of modern day Technics, Rhinoceros Grasshopper parametric design, I shaped a lamp inspired by the “Swiss Re” tower by Foster and Partners.
The outer layer uses the exact same spirals that can be found in the tower. The inner layer was an important addition to the design. The pattern used in the inner layer is the paneling pattern; where I created a diamond shape which is also based on the diamond shapes found on the “Swiss Re” tower.
